01What is Solarion Discovery™?
Solarion Discovery™ is enterprise mining intelligence software that connects operational, exploration, geospatial and governed AI workflows. It is designed to give technical teams a consistent application layer above specialist source systems while preserving data provenance and access controls.
02Who is the platform designed for?
The platform is designed for mining and mineral exploration organizations, including technical services, geology, exploration, mine operations, geotechnical, environment, compliance, data, digital and executive teams that need a governed view of technical information.
03Why are there two secure workspaces?
Discovery is focused on mine operations intelligence, including spatial planning, telemetry, survey, geotechnical, tailings, reconciliation, environment and compliance. Enterprise Intelligence is focused on mineral exploration and technical decision workflows, including portfolio intelligence, targets, drilling, assays, field records, digital twin, AI assistance, governance and technical disclosure.
04Does Solarion Discovery replace specialist mining systems?
Not necessarily. The platform is designed to sit above and connect systems already in use. GIS, laboratory, drilling, telemetry, document and planning systems can remain authoritative while Solarion Discovery normalizes context, lineage, permissions and cross-domain workflows.
05What data can be ingested?
The current Data Hub supports governed CSV, JSON and GeoJSON ingestion across operational and exploration domains. Authenticated REST ingestion is available for machine-to-machine workflows, with dataset source, version, user, timestamp, row count and record hash retained for lineage.
06Can customer GIS and geospatial data be loaded?
Yes. GeoJSON can be uploaded through the Data Hub and rendered as customer GIS layers in spatial workspaces. Enterprise deployments can extend the integration model for additional geospatial services and specialist source systems.
07Can the platform receive live telemetry?
Yes. Operational telemetry can be ingested through authenticated machine interfaces. The achievable cadence depends on the source system, gateway and deployment architecture. External context feeds are kept separate from site-controlled telemetry so their authority is clear.
08Can historical exploration and drilling data be imported?
Yes. Historical projects, targets, drill records, assays, field observations, core intervals, technical documents and spatial layers can be imported into Enterprise Intelligence and associated with project context and lineage.
09What does the Discovery workspace provide?
Discovery provides an operational workspace for Data Hub ingestion, operations intelligence, spatial planning, cost scenarios, survey and volumetrics, telemetry and fleet, geotechnical monitoring, tailings, reconciliation, environmental performance, compliance and operational AI insights.
10What does Enterprise Intelligence provide?
Enterprise Intelligence provides portfolio and project intelligence for exploration targets, drilling, field observations, core, assays, geospatial context, exploration agents, capital scenarios, governance records and NI 43-101 evidence workflows.
11Can users work at both portfolio and project level?
Yes. Enterprise Intelligence supports portfolio-level views and project-specific workspaces. Users can move from executive portfolio context into targets, drilling, assays, field records and technical evidence for a selected project.
12How does the AI Exploration Copilot use company data?
The Copilot is designed to work against the authorized project context available to the signed-in user. Relevant targets, drilling, assays and other connected records provide evidence context for the response. AI provider and source metadata can be retained with governed outputs.
13Does AI approve geological or operational decisions?
No. AI is an assistance layer. Material state changes, technical approvals and controlled workflows remain subject to authorized human review. The platform is designed to preserve the distinction between model recommendations, deterministic application logic and accountable human decisions.
14How is AI activity governed and traceable?
Governance controls can capture the user, project or site context, model or provider, source records, recommendation, approval state and resulting action. Decision and audit records are designed to preserve evidence context for later review.
15How is access controlled?
Both secure workspaces use custom portal authentication and role-based access control. Discovery and Enterprise Intelligence have independent permission models, protected application routes and capability checks for sensitive actions.
16Are secure portal pages indexed by search engines?
No. Secure workspaces and custom login routes are configured with noindex, nofollow and noarchive controls and are excluded from the public WordPress sitemap and public search surface.
17How is data provenance maintained?
Imported datasets retain source, ingestion time, user, version, status, row count and SHA-256 record hashes where applicable. The objective is to keep technical evidence attributable as it moves through analytical, spatial and AI-assisted workflows.
18How does an enterprise evaluation start?
An evaluation starts with a defined workflow and outcome, followed by a review of the source systems and data required, and then the identity, hosting, retention, integration and governance controls needed for the deployment.
19Can deployment requirements be tailored to an organization?
Yes. Integration topology, identity requirements, data retention, AI provider configuration and source-system connectivity are scoped around the organization’s technical and security requirements. Final deployment terms are defined through the applicable commercial engagement.
20Does the NI 43-101 workspace replace a Qualified Person?
No. The workspace organizes drill data, assays, QA/QC, geological interpretation, source documents, approvals and version history. It is an evidence-management environment and does not replace the Qualified Person or applicable professional and regulatory requirements.
